January 26, 2023(1 event) – Winter is a wonderful time to explore the lives of insects, mammals, trees, and weed plants. With Donald W. Stokes’ A Guide to Nature In Winter as our escort, let’s head outdoors to discover life under, in and above the snow. Each week participants will prepare for our walk by reading a general information section, usually 2 to 3 pages. We will hunt for examples of our reading and delve into their unique characteristics, history, and identification. Snowshoes will be provided if needed. Once registration is confirmed, a copy of the book will be waiting for you at the Visitor Center. Learn more and register here |
