EXPLORING WINTER ACTIVITY

Winter is a wonderful time to explore the lives of insects, mammals, trees, and weed plants. With Donald W. Stokes’ A Guide to Nature In Winter as our escort, let’s head outdoors to discover life under, in and above the snow. Each week participants will prepare for our walk by reading a general information section, usually 2 to 3 pages. We will hunt for examples of our reading and delve into their unique characteristics, history, and identification.

– Three sessions will be held for adults interested in participating in these annual and interesting Talk and Treks, led by our Director of Educational Programs, Nancy Conway. –
