Be they round, elliptical, bumpy, or bulging, most are caused by insect activity. Head afield with a Friends Naturalist in search of galls and learn of the one-to-one relationship each has with a local insect. Each week participants will prepare for our walk by reading a general information section, usually 2 to 3 pages. We will hunt for examples of our reading and delve into their unique characteristics, history, and identification. Snowshoes will be provided if needed.
