THE HISTORY OF FIVE RIVERS

Come to know Five Rivers in a deeper way through its history.  Step back in time as you gaze at folded rock layers and discover how the land was formed.  Stand where Indigenous Peoples’ artifacts have been unearthed and gain a sense of place.  Walk the trail of conservation efforts undertaken on the property since 1933 and become inspired to join the movement.

Notes:

• This series takes place outdoors.  Wear sturdy shoes and dress in layers to stay comfortable no matter the weather.
• Sessions will be held rain or shine unless there is a threat of a thunderstorm.
• 8 adults per monthly series.

Times and Dates:

• 1:30-3 pm on Thursday, October 10, 17, 24 (rain date 31) – REGISTER

• 10-11:30 am on Thursdays, November 7, 13, 21 (rain date Dec 5) – REGISTER

Fee:

• $25 members;  $35 non-member

* No refunds will be issued on cancellations within two weeks of the program.
