Map and Compass II: 4-week series

Map and Compass I introduced participants to four of the five basic parts of a map (title, legend, compass rose and field).

Map and Compass II will add contour lines, scale, pacing and orienteering by degree.  Participants will build contoured representations, determine their pace, and locate unique items at Five Rivers using their newfound skills.

☐        Who?  Elementary aged children and adult partners

☐        When?   3 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Mondays in May (May 3, 10, 17 & 24 with Rain Date on June 7)

☐        Where?  In person at Five Rivers

☐        Fee?  $25 for Friends Members / $30 for Non-Members, Material fees included
