Partnering with Wildbird Junction, a small, locally-owned business
It’s that time of year again! Purchase your birdseed to feed our winged feathered friends throughout the fall and winter months AND support Friends of Five Rivers at the same time!
This year, Friends of Five Rivers is thrilled to be partnering with Wildbird Junction – a Delmar small business – to offer quality seed products for this year’s Birdseed Fundraiser. Wildbird Junction secures their seed from Lizzie Mae, a quality brand with no unnecessary fillers. The seed will be delivered to Five Rivers for you to pick up on either Friday, October 4 or Saturday, October 5. Birdseed pick up accommodations will be made for those who observe Rosh Hashana.
In addition, when you pick up your order at Five Rivers, you will also receive THREE coupons to use at Wildbird Junction to replenish 
your seed throughout the winter… with 10% of those sales returning to Friends of Five Rivers.
The order deadline is September 19, so don’t delay… place your order through the button below. You will have the option to pay with a credit card or mail in a check.

TYPES OF SEED:
- Wildbird Junction Blend (20#) – Premium General Blend without filler seed. A great staple for all backyard feeder birds.
- Premium Black Oil Sunflower (40 & 20#) – Premium with no empty shells, sticks, or dust.
- Songbird Medley (20 & 5#) – A great winter blend!
- Cardinal Favorite (20 & 5#) – Safflower & Sunflower rich.
- Woodpecker Favorite (20 & 5#) – Peanut rich mix with dried fruit for all clinging birds.
- Finch Favorite (20 & 5#) – Popular Finch blend – 1/2 Nyjer & 1/2 Sunflower Chips.
- Nyjer (10 & 5#) – Traditional.
- Critter Vittles (5#) – Ground feed for “critters,” turkeys, and crows.
- Select Sunflower Chips (20 & 5#) – Whole seeds; no pieces and shell free.
- Safflower (10 & 5#) – Cardinals love it; Blackbirds won’t eat it!
- Peanuts in the Shell (10#) – Favorite of Blue Jays; great for critters, too.
- Suet (individual & case) – New York made from Pine Tree Farms with high quality protein and calories.
TIMELINES:
- Order deadline: All orders must be in and paid for by Thursday, September 19.
- Order pick up (TWO DAYS): Friday, October 4 from 11am-3pm; Saturday, October 5 from 10 am-noon (note: all orders must be picked-up on these dates as we are unable to store seed)

Remember that Friends of Five Rivers is the non-profit support arm of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC)-owned and operated Five Rivers Environmental Education Center. Our goal, through fundraising efforts such as this, is to support the mission of environmental education and land preservation in partnership with the DEC.
