READING NATURE'S SIGNS: Skills for unraveling the language of the natural landscape
10:00 am; 60 minutes

Nature is continually communicating with us through an array of sights, sounds, smells, and sensations.  How can we become more aware of our surroundings and make sense of what they are telling us about the story of life written on the landscape?  This workshop will provide some tools to help you begin to explore that question.

Note that participation in this program requires a willingness to sit still and remain silent for up to 5 minutes for the portion of the 60 minutes session.  Suggested age range:  12 and up.  Person's between and including ages 12-17 must be accompanied by an adult.

Instructor:  Dr. Bruce Coles has 35 years of experience with wilderness, tracking, and nature observation skills and has learned from some of the leading practitioners of these skills in the US.
