Introduction to Honey Bees for Adults
Investigating the fascinating lives of honey bees!
Buzz on over to investigate the fascinating lives of Honey Bees. Explore Honey Bee anatomy, life in the hive, and the honey making process. Dismantle a life-sized Langstroth teaching hive to uncover the frames within. Handle the equipment of modern beekeepers and suit up to participate in a hive inspection with one of Friends’ beekeepers.

- Adult Individuals
- Maximum number of participants – 5 adults
WHEN & WHERE:
- Tuesday, June 24
- 9:00 am to 2:00 pm (5 hours, with a half hour lunch break... bring your own bagged lunch and drink)
- Rain Date on Wednesday, June 25
- In person at Five Rivers Environmental Center
COST (includes materials):
- MEMBERS: $50 per person
- NON-MEMBERS: $70 per person
HOW:
Required registration by June 17
- Register and pay online via credit card
- You will have the option to mail in a check after filling out the online registration form
