Meet a Friends’ beekeeper to investigate these and other fascinating aspects of Honey Bee life. Then help the beekeeper open a hive and wonder anew as you observe the bees at work. Beekeeping suits, veils and gloves provided.
Introduction to Honey Bees
- Date: Tuesday, June 24 (rain date June 25)
- Time: 9 am – 2 pm (bring a bagged lunch)
- Fees (includes materials): $50 for Friends’ Members; $70 for non-members
CHILD with ADULT PARTNER PROGRAM – register
- Date: Thursday, June 26 (rain date June 27)
- Time: 9 am – 1 pm (bring a bagged lunch)
- Fees (includes materials): $40 for Friends’ Members; $60 for non-members; $25 for each additional child
- Requirements: 10 years and older w/ adult partner
Deadline to register is June 17th.
