The “Giving Tree” is a beautiful indoor mural painted by local artist, Carol Coogan, located in the vestibule between the Five Rivers Visitor Center and Guided School Program building.

For his hard work and dedication as part of the NYSDEC Five Rivers maintenance team presented by Friends of Five River. “John has been the best friend ‘Friends’ could ever have on a maintenance team. Despite the constant demands of his position, John remained accessible and dedicated to the educational goals of Friends programming, making him an integral part of the education team,” shared Nancy Conway, Director of Education.
