Nature Photography Submit your best shots of nature, taken both at Five Rivers or other areas in the Capital Region.
July & August
Children’s Art Showcase Elementary-aged children are welcome to submit a mixed media piece of their choice as it relates to nature.
Artist Open House on Saturday, July 15 from 11 am to 1 pm… free to the public, light refreshments served.
October & November
Mixed Media We will display nature-themed paint, poetry, quilting, woodwork, and other mediums for this Mixed Media exhibit.

Summer is abuzz with bugs, butterflies, beetles, and more at Five Rivers! There are so many hovering, hopping, flying, and camouflaging in our gardens and fields. Come join us this Saturday, July 22 from 11 am to 2 pm for Bug Fest 2023. Enjoy a bug safari, pollinator garden tours, scavenger hunt, bug crafts, and much more "buzziness."
Bug enthusiasts of all ages are encouraged to come in an insect costume: wear antennae, wings, or some extra legs... whatever feels like your inner bug. Join us to celebrate these little animals that make all life on earth possible!
