Five Rivers has drawn generations to learn about nature and conservation, to teach their children and grandchildren, to walk and revel and become inspired by the great outdoors. From field to forest, ponds and flowing waters, Five Rivers’ variety of habitats support an unusually wide variety of life within its 450-plus acres at the edge of suburbia. Birds, mammals, amphibians, insects and more await discovery here! Nature photographers Scott Stoner and Denise Hackert-Stoner will showcase the beauty and diversity of this beloved place that is such an integral part of the Capital Region. This 45-minute program with 15-minutes of discussion/questions, celebrates nature through the seasons of a typical year at Five Rivers!
