Friends of Five Rivers (FFR) Family Fun Programs are for Adults with their Pre-School Children (older siblings welcome). Adults (parent, grandparent or guardian) and children (ages 2-4) together will take part in exploring the natural world during different seasons of the year. Each 1 ½ hour lesson will begin with the sharing of a story book on a nature topic. Participants will take part in an outdoor activity that is suggested by the book. After their guided walk they will return indoors to take part in a craft or take home project.
Winter Session: Begins January 12 for Tuesday participants and January 13th for Wednesday participants.
Lesson times: 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. or 12:30 p.m. top 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday or Wednesday for four weeks.
Participants may come either on Tuesday or on Wednesday. Both days will be identical. Please commit to either a Tuesday or Wednesday.
Participants will receive an e-mail prior to each week’s lesson on the topic that will be explored. The e-mails will be a reminder and a picture clue of that weeks’ adventure.
